Dr. Kennedy Senagi holds a PhD in Computer Science (specialty: Artificial Intelligence and Parallel Computing) from University of Paris8, France. He also holds Msc. in Software Engineering and Bsc. in Information Technology from Jomo Kenyatta University of Technology, Kenya. He has previously worked as a software developer at Kimetrica Limited and UNESCO. He is currently a lecturer in the Department of Information Technology at Dedan Kimathi University of Technology and an examiner at KASNEB. He is also a researcher (Artificial Intelligence) with Campus France PHC program (a collaboration between University of Paris8, University of Nairobi and Kenya Agricultural & Livestock Research Organization) and a leader/mentor of various start-ups in Nairobi. His research interests are in the areas of Machine Learning, Data Science, Parallel Computing, Software Engineering and Distributed Computing.
