About SEPA
SEPA is an innovative Software Engineering training designed by some of the brightest minds in Industry and Academia to bridge the gap between the Computer Science curriculum and what the industry expects. The entire program lasts one year and is divided into 3 phases: 6 months, 2 months and 4 months. At the end of one year, students are transformed into highly skilled and competent full-stack software engineers.
The first phase of the SEPA program is a thorough project-based learning called sprints. This is meant to reinforce, practice, computer science concepts learnt at the universities. The sprints are followed by a 2 months project. This is a collaborative project aimed at teaching students teamwork and working together to build a product which is the reality of the software world. In this part, students will build a fully-fledged software product. They have to carry out requirements analysis, design, and implement software to solve a practical problem. The final phase is industry attachment. Students are attached to top vetted companies and participate in engineering departments while at the same time gaining mentorship from some of the best technical minds in the industry.
