As a math lover, finding myself in the tech world seemed like an uphill task for a while till I came across a course on business intelligence and this led me to Data Science. A combination of linear Algebra, Statistics, Probability, and programming made me fall in love with data science some more.
With data being the new oil, there is so much that can be done with the correct interpretation of data. Every second, businesses generate huge volumes of data. This data is instrumental in helping these organizations to make informed decisions and to provide solutions that make life easier and more comfortable for humans. Surprisingly, most people don’t even have a clue of what goes on behind the scenes. I was once there but I now know the value of data and what goes into making data-driven decisions.
Business and Data, the perfect pair
Initially, it was mind-blowing to think of how AI is applied in driver-less cars, recommender systems, healthcare, agriculture, and fraud detection just to name a few. Being curious about how things in this industry work behind the scenes made me want to be among the problem solvers. The biggest challenge, however, was how to find the right path and the best vehicle for my journey in Data Science.
After a bit of research, I finally found a place that I now call home. JENGA School, a tech institution that offers Data Science, Data Engineering, and Software Engineering programs gladly accepted my application, and my journey began.
So far, JENGA School has proven to have the best instructors, who are well-grounded in the field and are so willing to impact generations with the knowledge they have attained over the years. With fellow students who are eager to learn, we both agree this is the right place for us. We are not only a school but also a team and a family at large.
